When Donn Zver first offered to help raise funds for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Brantford and Brant County, the Kids Can Fly team was thrilled—but had no idea just how meaningful this partnership would become.
As it turns out, beautifully crafted pottery ornaments and a love of community make a perfect match.
What began as a simple idea quickly grew into the Donn Zver Pottery Christmas Ornament Campaign. Year after year, volunteers have gathered at Donn’s studio to create hundreds of small pottery ornaments that our community eagerly supports.
This year, the campaign raised $9,000, which translates into 2,000 brand-new books placed directly into the hands of local children.
Thanks to that generosity—and a whole lot of volunteer hands—these small ornaments continue to make a big impact.
