The weather was unpredictable, but it didn’t ruin the fun of the 2nd Super Hero fundraiser that was held for Kids Can Fly on Labour Day!

This event raised an incredible $5000 which will go directly towards the work we do with children and families in the community!

It was wonderful to see so many families come out to meet their favourite Super Heroes as well as some real life Super Heroes!

The weather was HOT at the beginning, so the Fire Department found a creative way to cool us off!

Whimsical Players came out yet again and volunteered their time to make dreams come true! We appreciate your continued support and the fun you bring to our events!

Brantford’s Amazing Deadpool made an appearance as well and brought extra energy and laughs to the day!

Children were delighted to meet some of their favourite Super Heroes….

and their real life Super Heroes as well!

The sky opened up, and the event got rained out earlier that we had hoped, but thanks to Megs and Clarke, some of our friends stayed nice and dry!  Thank you for opening your doors for this event.

We would like to say a huge thank you to the Dairee Delite and all of the staff for making this event possible in their space, for all of the organization, work and fundraising donations that went into this event!

Thank you to all of the professionals who took part in making this event happen! Brantford Police Services for all of their hard work, fundraising donations, the delicious BBQ lunch and for having so many great police vehicles and officers on site for the event! Brantford Fire Department and the Brantford Professional Firefighters Association for your work in helping organize the event, having trucks and staff onsite, and for facilitating our story time.  Brant County Paramedics for coming out to provide First Aid and allow families to get a look inside the ambulances.

This has quickly become one of our favourite community, family centered fundraising events, and judging by the smiles that day, we aren’t alone!!
