Support and Connection for Dads and Babies
Beacon is a Kids Can Fly program created for dads and their babies.
This free program gives dads a welcoming place to connect with others during their baby’s first year.
Sessions include interactive music time for dads and babies, followed by facilitated conversations about parenting and life with a new baby.
Returning Spring 2027
Kids Can Fly launched the first Beacon pilot in 2025 with support from the City of Brantford Healthy Kids Program.
Funding from the James F. Boughner Foundation will support the next phase, planned for spring 2027.
Program dates, location and registration information will be announced once details are finalized.
What to Expect

Who Can Participate?
Beacon is designed for dads with babies from birth to 12 months.
Registration information for the spring 2027 program will be available closer to the program date.
