We are thrilled to announce that we were successful in receiving a grant through the Ontario Brain Institute which was submitted in partnership with McMaster University

This 2 year grant will provide much needed funds that will allow this unique program that provides support for women experiencing Postpartum Mood Disorders through the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to continue and help more women in the community

Thank You volunteer tea

Last week we celebrated our volunteers for our Parachute program.  The Parachute program is for moms with babies under 12 months.  It is meant to act as a support for the challenges that new moms are facing parenting an infant.   A light lunch is provided weekly and transportation is available if needed.

Our volunteers come every week and help facilitate the program and cuddle the babies.  The volunteers are a huge part of this program and we wanted to show them how much we appreciate them!

The lunch was held at Serenity Country Candles, and they surprised us by providing the lunch free of cost and giving each of our volunteers a beautiful candle to take home as a thank you for the work that Kids Can Fly and our volunteers do!

It was a wonderful afternoon!
