Kids Can Fly is excited to partner with the Brantford Regional Real Estate Association (BRREA) to support early literacy. BRREA is celebrating their 75th Anniversary so what better way than to give 75 children the gift of reading. Realtors are pitching in and for every house sold, they can opt in and give $50.00 that will make room for one more child to be added to the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high quality books to children ages 0-5 years old. It inspires the love of reading and learning. Research shows that children who are registered on the program are more prepared to begin school.
Literacy is one of the most important indicators of community success. Higher literacy rates lead to increase skilled labour, higher wages and lower health issues.
