A FREE drop-in program for children 0-5 years of age and their parents

Please note that the Launch Pad does not run during summer break. Thursday, June 20th, is the last day of the Launch Pad before reopening on September 3rd, 2024.

Join Debbie Censner, RECE, for activities, outdoor play, music and story time, and a time to chat with other parents and caregivers.

The Launch Pad is located at Centennial Grand Woodlands School at 41 Ellenson Drive in Brantford.

Please note that visitors should park on the street and enter by the kindergarten gate. Once program moves indoors, there will be signage posted regarding which door to enter.

This year, the Launch Pad will be open from 9:15 AM – 11:45 AM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

All are welcome! If you have any questions, email Debbie at, or message us on social media.

Please check our Facebook, Instagram or event calendar for live updates.

Imagine a place where you are always welcome, where children have the opportunity to explore, play, socialize and be kids in a safe environment and where their parents and caregivers are supported. This place exists and it is called the Launch Pad!

Participation is free for all guests. Kids Can Fly has hosted this parent and child program since 2008.

Dr. Fraser Mustard

The first 6 years are critical

At the Launch Pad, we believe that parents are a child’s first and most important teachers. We know that children learn best through play and we follow the research of the late Dr. Fraser Mustard, that the first six years of life set the stage for lifelong learning, health, behaviour and well-being.

Charismatic & qualified

At the Launch Pad, your child will be immersed in stories, songs and activities offered by our experienced and talented facilitator, Debbie Censner, RECE. Debbie has over 15 years of experience as an RECE, many of those years spent working with children and their families in full-day kindergarten.

A foundation of love

The Launch Pad is really special because it is sponsored by the Bill and Dorothy Campbell Fund within the BCFund. Bill and Dorothy Campbell believed that investing in the early years is very important for the future of our children and community.

The Grand Erie District School Board provides the space free of charge and Kids Can Fly administrates the program. In the summer of 2022 we received an Ontario Trillium Grant to purchase new toys, equipment and an outdoor sun shelter for the playground.
