It was five years ago that the Rotary Club of Brantford Sunrise came to Kids Can Fly with a proposal to partner for a project that Rotary Clubs from around the world were supporting in their communities called the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Who knew five years later that is would be such an integral part of Kids Can Fly’s philosophy and focus. The Imagination Library mails a book to 1500 children every month from birth to age five in Brantford/Brant. The local groups have to fund raise approximately $50/year for each child on the program. The Dollywood Foundation administers the database, selects the books and coordinates fulfillment. Rotary Club of Brantford Sunrise is continuing their support by donating $5000 to Kids Can Fly for the Imagination Library in Brantford/Brant. We are grateful and inspired by the Rotary Club of Brantford Sunrise and their endless time and energy to make Brantford and Brant County great place to raise a family. Their tireless effort helps future generations to succeed in life by investing in the early years. Thank you for your generosity and support of Kids Can Fly!

Jeanne Smitiuch, Program Coordinator of Imagination Library and Sharon Brooks, Executive Director of Kids Can Fly are presented with a cheque of $5000 from Joe Persia, Rotary Club of Brantford Sunrise and Kids Can Fly board member.
