$1500 raised for Brant United Way

Thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets for our recent fundraiser for Brant United Way.  With the support of our staff, board members and community, we were able to raise $1500!

Congratulations to Davina Komienski for winning the prize of 2 tickets to see a matinee production ‘Hamilton’ in Toronto with a limo ride there and back, money for snacks at the matinee, and a $100 GC for dinner at a local restaurant.

Kristin Pass named New Executive Director for Brant United Way

Brant United Way Executive Director-Kristin PassThe Brant United Way will have a new Executive Director as of February 21, 2012.  Kristin Pass who is currently the Campaign Director has been promoted to the position after the current Executive Director, Brad Park accepted the position of CEO of United Way Oakville.  “Brad was with us for 18 months and in that time helped the Board and the organization reach new heights. We are in a strong position and we thank him for his valuable input and wish him continued success in his United Way career.” said Paul Oddi, the Board President.

Mr. Oddi announced that Kristin Pass has accepted the Executive Director position through a press release.  “Ms. Pass will be familiar to the community, as she has been with Brant United Way since September 2007 in the role of Campaign Director and present at events and meetings.  We are pleased that Kristin is stepping up to this leadership role in the organization. She has been a valuable member of our staff and a valuable asset to our fundraising campaigns. We are confident this will make for a smooth transition and that staff, volunteers and donors will feel at ease knowing the organization is in good hands.”

Brant United Way currently supports a network of 18 agencies that provide over 50 programs and services to strengthen individuals, families, and our community.  Kids Can Fly is registered United Way Agency. We wish Brad Park the best of luck and a sincere congratulations to Kristin. We have worked together well on numerous projects and are looking forward to working together for years to come!
