Parenting a new baby can be challenging. Parachute gives moms a welcoming place to connect with others during their baby’s first year.

This free, weekly drop-in program is for moms with babies from birth to 12 months. First-time and experienced moms are welcome.

No registration is required.

What to Expect

Each session begins with interactive music time for moms and babies. It is followed by a facilitated conversation about parenting and life with a new baby.

Parachute is led by Debbie Censner, a Registered Early Childhood Educator. Debbie has years of experience in childcare and parent support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to register?

No. Parachute is a free drop-in program. We ask participants to arrive by 1:00 p.m. whenever possible.

Can I bring my toddler?

Yes. Our program space includes activities for toddlers and a carpeted play area for babies.

What should I bring?

Bring anything you need to care for yourself and your baby. There is space for strollers, diaper bags and car seats.
